I had a question raised in an interview, "What is a Greenfield Project and the role of an HR Manager?" Can anybody help in this regard.

A Greenfield project is nothing but a completely new beginning for the company, starting from scratch. In this type of assignment, HR plays a critical role and involves conducting a survey of the area including processes such as the cost of living, amenities, availability of resources (manpower), transportation, as well as considering the lifestyle, political influences, mindset of the people, perception towards industries, criticality of deploying people, and other core HR activities.
