Bank Account on EPF Withdrawal - Now I use a different salary account

When applying for EPF Withdrawal, should the same salary bank account be given - when I was with my previous employer. I got the account closed when I left the organisation because I had to maintain min balance. Now I use a different salary account. Can I use this account for EPF withdrawal purpose?

Yes, U can use a different salary account and that should be from any of the scheduled banks(using nationalized bank more useful).

I agree with the opinions as above. It is better to attach a copy of the Pass-book with the withdrawal form in order to avoid any objection as well as ensuring exact bank account in which amount is being sought to be credited.
