Understanding Industrial DA Changes: How Will the New Rates Affect You from 2012 Onwards?

As you know, the Industrial DA from 01.10.2011 onwards is 52% for the 1.1.2007 scale and 156.6% for the 1.1.1997 scale.

Now, the projected figure from 01.01.2012 onwards is 56.5% (a difference of 4.5%) for the 1.1.2007 scale and 164.2% (a difference of 7.6%) for the 1.1.1997 scale.

Note: This is based on the AICPI up to 31.10.2011 published on 30.11.2011. The result of one more month, viz. November 2011, has to come for the final figure.

After releasing the AICPI of December '11 and January '12, the IDA has come down to 56.5% (instead of 56.7%) and 164.2% (instead of 164.6%) respectively. The AICPI for February '12 is expected to be released on 31st March 2012.

As you know, the Industrial DA from 01.01.2012 is 56.7% and 164.6% respectively for the 01.01.2007 and 01.01.1997 scales. Now, the IDA continues to remain unchanged from 01.04.2012 onwards at 56.7% and 164.6%.

Dear friends, as you know, the Industrial DA from 1.4.2012 onwards is 56.7% (1.1.2007 scales) and 164.6% (1.1.1997 scales) respectively. After releasing the AICPI of March 2012, the projected IDA from 1.7.2012 onwards is 59.2% (1.1.2007 scales) and 168.7% (1.1.1997). Note: AICPI of two more months, April & May 2012, has to come to get the final figure.
