Seeking Advice on HR Career in the Hotel Industry

I have an interview tomorrow with a 5-star hotel in Hyderabad for an HR Associate position. It's a very famous hotel in India. I want to know whether the hotel industry is a good field to work in or not. Some of my friends who have experience in HR advised me against entering the hotel industry as an HR.

Please advise me in this regard.
