How Do I Apply for an Individual Pollution Certificate for My Garment Company?

Hi seniors, I am working in a garment manufacturing company. It's a garment park similar to Tidel Park. We are one of the concerns in this park. However, the park's admin department provides us with a pollution certificate. They commonly apply for both concerns that are running under the park. But now, they have informed us to obtain a pollution certificate individually from the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board.

Please guide me on how to apply for that, what the fees are, and how many days it will take to obtain the certificate.

Please meet the DEE of the nearest Pollution Control Board. They will guide you. They have a fee structure based on the balance sheet of your company. You need to obtain the application and submit it with the details of the manufacturing process flow chart and other necessary information. They will assist you.

From your post, it appears that you already have the pollution certificate for the previous year, which, it can be presumed, must have been provided by the Park's Administration. Now, it is a case of renewal only.

As suggested by Mr. Alphone, please meet the concerned authority and get clarification for its renewal. The fee structures vary from state to state and may change year to year as decided by the State.

You just need to submit a letter detailing the previous certificate along with the draft of the fee to the concerned authority. The authority may visit to verify the details through spot inspection, and after satisfaction, they will issue the certificate. No one can say how much time it will take; it will depend upon the satisfaction and follow-up with the authority by you. However, once you have submitted the application, you will be safe until it has been rejected by the authority for any reason.
