How to Draft an Appointment Letter with a 2-Month Contract Clause for New Hires?

Hi Folks, We want to hire a candidate for a permanent position but require a minimum 2-month contract, during which the candidate cannot leave us. However, if they wish to continue after the initial 2 months, they may do so.
