Confused About PF & ESI Deadlines? When Are Monthly Challans and Returns Due?

Can anybody tell me when the due date is to submit PF & ESI monthly challans and monthly returns? Please let me know if you need any further information.

As per the PF rules, the challan should be submitted before the 10th of the particular month. Additionally, Form No. 2, Form No. 12A, Form No. 5, and Form No. 10 should be submitted before the 25th of the same month.

PF and ESIC Monthly Compliance Deadlines

As per PF rules, the monthly challan should be deposited before the 15th of every month. The monthly return under PF should be submitted before the 25th of every month in the form of 12A (revised), along with Form No. 5 (new members joining the establishment), Form 10 (details of members who have left during the month), Form 2 (Nomination Details of Members), and the original copy of the Challan.

As per the rules of ESIC, the monthly challan should be deposited before the 21st of every month. In ESIC, there is no monthly return.

The last date for challan deposits is the 15th of every month. If deposited through a cheque, the clearance date must be before the 20th of the same month.

Submission Deadlines

For Form 5/10 & 2, the submission deadline is the 15th of each month.

Regarding 12A along with Challan, the deadline is the 25th of every month.
