The Need for a Blacklist of Unethical Employees

Isn't there a need for a blacklist of employees who have absconded or engaged in unethical practices?

I have a colleague who quit after 4 months and diverted my client to himself, planning to establish a competing business. This behavior is highly objectionable.

For IT companies, I understand NASSCOM maintains a blacklist of employees involved in unethical practices. You can inform NASSCOM about him if you are sure he is engaging in such practices. In addition, if you have a service bond with comprehensive non-disclosure and non-competition clauses, you can seek damages from the civil court as well.
