Accident Analysis is something we have to do after an accident happens, and Accident Prevention is all about how to prevent accidents from occurring. I would like to advise you to give more importance to the latter, i.e., Accident Prevention. It's all about Safety Management – how you manage things to ensure an accident-free environment. Different companies have different ways of safety management. It's a top-driven initiative. If the company's top officials do not realize and open their minds, it would be very difficult to even think about Accident Analysis. You might not even get figures of how many LTIs or Fatal Accidents took place; analysis is very far at this stage. So, if you have proper Safety Management, Accident Analysis is also a part of it.

Think about it. Try to gather some data. If possible, visit some factories with their permissions. Study the Safety Management System.
