Is It Safe to Join a New Company Paying Cash Without Payslips? Seeking Advice on Job Offer with a 1-Year Bond

nischay_dhiren
Hi Seniors, Actually, I have 1 year of experience in recruitment with a consultancy. Now, I have an offer from a vitrified tiles manufacturing company. It is a limited company, but they are giving the salary in cash and not providing the payslip as well. The reason they have given is that they do not have proper processes right now because the company is new and will start providing the payslip after 2-3 months. Is it possible? Should I join the company? They are also asking for a 1-year bond.

Regards, Dhiren Doshi

Hi Nischay, I won't recommend you as there are many companies that engage in such practices solely to evade their income tax obligations. Therefore, I advise you not to get ensnared in working for such companies unless there is an urgent need, as it could significantly impact your career. If you do choose to work for them, it may help you gain experience, but be aware that other companies in the future may not consider the salary you receive from this organization.

Please consider the long-term implications before making any decisions.

Thank you.
