Workers Category - Skilled, Semi Skilled, Unskilled

Kindly go through the base notification issued under Minimum Wage Act of your state, the base notification, clearly specify about the nature of jobs which falls under unskilled,semiskilled,skilled,or highly skilled.
its all depend on the nature of jobs/qualification/technical skills of the workmen.
All states has discribed in their base notification about who shall be in which category.
in few state, a workmen working in one categary for specific time period say 2/3/4 years, he will be treated as advance to next category and further on.
