Labour License For Uttarakhand

Dear Sir / Madam / HR Professionals,
Kindly let men know the no. of workers required to have a Labout License at Pantnagar, Uttarakhand.
We are supposed to be engaged some work at the plant & need to have a Labour License regarding the same. In my knowledge, if we are engaging 20 or more than that, we need to have a Labour License. But in case of Gujrat, the limit should not go beyond 9. I am little bit confussed regarding the same.
Kindly let me know at the earliest.

As you mention it is true. If you are engaging 20 or more, then you require Labour License. And Don't be confuse there can be the different norms in gujrat.
For labour License you will require : Form V, Application form as prescribe in Contrat Labour (R&A) Act 1970, License fees challan, License security fees challan ( it should be deposit in SBI treasary), Work order,etc.
