ESI Half-Yearly Returns: Do We Submit Manually or Online This Year?

I am working as an HR Executive in a private firm in Chennai. Please let me know whether ESI half-yearly returns need to be submitted manually or online this year. We have been contributing to online ESI for the past four months.

As there are no specified notifications, employers should submit manual returns to the local/branch office by the deadline, which is the eleventh of November.

Thank you for your response, sir. However, our sister concern received a call from the local branch stating that there is no need for half-yearly returns. They requested information about the contribution details from previous months via email.
