Stuck in Mumbai: How Can My Friend Withdraw Her Old PF Funds from Odisha?

Hi Everyone, My friend worked at X Company for 9 months in Odisha, i.e., from June 2010 to March 2011. She left the company in March 2011 and took a break to get married. She then joined a new company in Mumbai in June 2011 under a different name due to her marriage. Because of the name change, she was assigned a new PF account number with the new organization.

Now, we need assistance in withdrawing the funds from her old PF account. However, we are currently situated in Mumbai and are unable to travel back to Odisha.

Please advise on the process for withdrawal in this scenario.

You may please ask her to submit the duly filled PF Form 19 and 10C directly to the previous employer, attaching a copy of the PAN card and one cancelled cheque.
