Confused About My PF Transfer from Comp1 to Comp2 – How Can I Verify It?

Dear all, I have the following clarification.

First, I was working in a company in Hyderabad for 1 year and 10 months - Comp1. Next, I joined a company in Chennai (Comp2) and applied for PF transfer after about 1 year. Now, I am working in Comp3 in Chennai and have applied for PF transfer from Comp2. Recently, I checked the EPFO website and viewed the PF amount in Comp2 online. I received a message indicating that my EE amount is 139,515 and ER amount is 96,767, and the PF transfer request is currently under process.

My main doubt is regarding my Comp1 PF amount, which is 55,000. I am unsure if it was transferred to Comp2 or not. How can I verify this?

The Comp1 PF is managed by a trust, and the online details are not accessible to me. I am uncertain if this is due to the account being closed or the information not being available with the PF.

Could somebody please assist me with this matter?

Hi Satya, the Company 1 PF amount can be confirmed by calling the PF office in Hyderabad, or you can submit a PF withdrawal form from that company.

Thank you for the quick reply. Could you please let me know the exact phone number where I have to call? Is there a particular number I should call? Would it be sufficient if I provide the PF number only?

You need to collect the information from your previous employer or through the internet. You will get the number, and your PF number will be sufficient.
