What Is Personalized Recruitment and How Does It Differ from Standard Practices?

karthick
Hi all,

I am new to this group, working for the Consulting division. There was a discussion among us in our organization about personalized recruitment and what are the ways we need to do it. Can anybody help me out by telling me what personalized recruitment is all about and how it is different from the defined process as such?

Karthick :)

Hi Karthick,

Personalized interviews are all about packaging your solutions to the client.

Here, the firm, especially like yours, performs activities to align itself with the company's goals and partners in their growth.

Potential candidates are thoroughly screened, interviewed, reference-checked, skills assessed, and have undertaken an entry-level psychometric test.

An outline of these services is below as a sample of your basket of services to the client:-

Advertising:

XYZ will write, submit, and pay for all advertising on behalf of our clients. Display advertising will be charged directly to our clients; however, you will benefit from our contract rates with the agencies.

Screening and Interviewing:

All candidates will be initially screened via telephone, and only appropriate candidates will be invited for an interview. Each candidate is then thoroughly interviewed using behavior-based techniques.

Reference Checking:

XYZ makes every endeavor to obtain at least 2 verbal checks. Should we uncover any areas of concern with any candidate, we will discuss these with you.

These activities differ from other processes as explained above because they strive to play a proactive role and partner in the company's growth.

In reality, most firms fail in this process and end up placing one or two candidates on an ad hoc basis.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Rajat
