As its ESI challan is generating online, so there is no need to submit half yearly return.

dear senior even though we are generating Challana online we need to submit returns through online with the Tab VIEW RC in ESI portal.

As my friend states, it is not necessary to submit hard copy now onwards as it is online. You can take printout of system generated copy in pds/ward format for your reference.

I am of the same opinion also. Since the monthly challans are being generated only after we feed the wages/salary of employees, there is no need to file the half yearly return.

I have checked with Branch Office - Manager and also resposible person in ESI SRO CBE, they told that we should submit ESI Half Yearly Return in Hard Copy woth xerox copy of remitted challan.
You may check with your concern office authorities.

Dear friend,
It may be correct with your SRO, where as my SRO's instruction in bangalore, it is not mandatory, they will accept hard copy of RC along with Copy of paid challan if you wish to submit.

Dear seniors the mode of Submission is varrying with location, so its better to follow as per the instructions of concerned ESI authorities.
