Has Outer Chennai Become Part of the City? Understanding HRA/CCA Changes for Employees

Now Chennai Corporation has extended its limits to 200 corporation wards from 155. My question is, does outer Chennai now become part of Chennai city? If so, what is the HRA/CCA for them? Will it remain the same, or will there be any additional amount to give to the employees? If there are changes, kindly advise on what basis the HRA/CCA should be increased. Thanks in advance for sharing your insights.

In the case of the private sector, the HRA and CCA will be regulated by the terms in the appointment order/wage settlements and not by the geographical location of the establishment.
