Please let me know if the minimum wages in Punjab include HRA as one of the wage components. I am writing this email out of learning interest. I have come to understand that HRA is also considered one of the components included in minimum wages.

Furthermore, I have learned that the High Court of Punjab and Haryana recently ordered an interim stay on the split of minimum wages for EPF contribution. According to the EPF Act, the HRA component is excluded from the definition of "Basic Wages."
