Bonus Ceiling Of 10000. Is It Still Applicable? - DOC Download

Dear Seniors,
I've heard that there is a cap of maximum 10000/- on Basic+DA for eligibility for bonus, but couldnt find it in the Act.
Is it still applicable?
If yes can you guide me where to find it in the Act.

Dear Sharon,
Yes the cap is still applicable, but there is a proposal to rise it to 15,000. In this regards there is a bill, but it is yet to be amended in the bonus act.

Dear Kanchan,
You had mistaken the bonus applicability.
The maximum ceiling limit for bonus is 10,000/-. Minimum ceiling is 3500/-.
Labour who earn less than 6500 will get 8.33%(Minimum) or 20%(Maximum) bonus annually.
