Is the Minimum Wages Act Relevant to ITES? Understanding Salary Requirements in BPOs

I am working as an HR executive in ITES. Is the Minimum Wages Act applicable to ITES? What is the minimum salary that needs to be paid to employees in ITES (BPO)?

To be clear, the minimum wage in states applies only to scheduled employments. All states have defined categories of jobs in the schedule. According to the schedule, wages have been defined for skilled, unskilled, and semi-skilled workers.
