Thank you for the notification. However, could you please clarify whether it is related to only government departments or applicable to all establishments in the Tamil Nadu State?

Thank you for the information. We have to declare a PAID HOLIDAY for election dates since it has been declared a paid holiday under the NI Act. The same has been vetted with the Inspector of Factories, and they also advised declaring a holiday.

Applicable to factories, shops, and establishments as well. The majority of educational institutions are used as election booths; hence, it is applicable.
