How Do I Request a Job Confirmation and a 40% Raise After Probation? Seeking Advice!

Respected all, I have been working in a private organization since May '11, and I will complete my probationary period (6 months) in October '11. Can anyone help me with a format for a request letter to our HR for my confirmation and increment? NOTE: The increment should be 40% of my present gross, as I have been working hard and actively participating in all activities and tasks.

Hi Ram, As per my knowledge, no company hikes salary for just six months. Even if it does, it would be around 5-10% and not more than that. Anyway, I can give you a guarantee that you will get a letter from HR stating that your probation is completed, but there will be no increment. So, just wait and see and come back after you receive your letter and update here if I am wrong.
