Hi Chander, it is a nice thought about doing SAP, but only doing the course will not help you in earning more money. Most companies consider SAP-certified individuals or those with at least 1 year of experience for a job. So, if you are doing an SAP course, you'll have to get certified as well. Nowadays, certification alone will cost around 40,000 INR.

Training and Employment Opportunities

I would say there are a few companies that provide training and hire you as an SAP consultant based on how well you score in your training, so check that out. However, it will cost at least a minimum of 60,000 INR. It's not an easy field; you'll have to struggle for a minimum of 2 years to earn good money. The earnings for the first 2 years will be very low, for example, up to a maximum of 20-25k a month.

First of all, knowledge always pays you back, though not necessarily at once. Somewhere in life, you will find the worth of that knowledge. So, taking a course or certification in any useful subject will eventually pay you back. However, one thing we all should know is that some knowledge demands a heavy investment, like SAP certification. As many of my expert friends have already advised, it is not necessary that we will get a job with a good package immediately. What we all need is patience, which is a virtue.

Second, gaining knowledge at the right time and for the right place is more important. I suggest my friends, before investing in SAP HR Certification, kindly review whether you belong to the HR field first. Second, does your market typically demand SAP in HR, and how many vacancies are available in the market? Maybe your market demands more in Oracle PeopleSoft–HR or may need Microsoft Dynamics in HR certified candidates. A well-done survey of your market is more important if you have the right approach.
