Office Party Ideas

Hi, Myself Mandeep and I am working as HR executive in IT company with 20 employees.We are having annual day cum Diwali party on 21st Oct, please suggest event ideas or games ideas...as I am new to this profession please suggest some tips to organise office party..

What is your budget. If this is around 500/- bucks per head you could book a resort with indoor/outdoor games with buffet included.
DJ and transport would probably cost you extra. Check on sites like snapdeal/dealivore/dealsandyou - you will get good deals there.

Thankyou all for your quick replies...Please suggest some eventslike some office games.and also diwali gifts for employees and for that budget will be 500-600 per individual....My role is to organise events or games..other things like snacks and all will be arranged by my boss.

I would suggest two games one is treasure hunt and the other is balloon bursting tie one balloon in each persons leg sides (near ankle) they should burst others balloons at the same time safeguard their own balloons, you can keep 3 minutes as time frame balloons should be tied on both the legs of each person.The person who has safeguarded the balloons is the winner.They will enjoy.
Gifts: you can arrange sweets/dry fruits.
For games you can give small show piece or pens.

Hi Mandeep,
I sugeest make a movie contest. 20 members can be divided into 4 teams.
here, you give them 1 newspaper, 1 chart, 1 Scissors, 1 fevi stick. Time limit - 15mins for the each team
Team had to thing on the concept, select the pics from the paper cut & past them on the chart in a sequence and each team had to title the movie and after 15mins they had to explain the movie with the sticked pics on the chart.
This is really Fun. Try out.
you can go for a Ramp walk, ask all the team members to come in Ethnic wear.
Gifts can be cups, show items, scented candles, being diwali time you can gift nice diyas to them.
