Informative Presentation
While seeking new challenges and acquiring new competencies, it is important to remember and nurture the Basic Principles (as advocated by management gurus like Stephen Covey). Nowadays, Indian corporates refer to them as Group Values. The fundamentals that build good character are well known and yet worth recalling: Integrity, Honesty, Truthfulness, Commitment, etc.
After formal education, when people enter the workforce, teachers bid goodbye in the institutions. It is the HR professional who should take on the mantle of a "Moral Preacher." Their role should be that of a lifelong teacher. In these tough times, when people chase 'success' more than ever, HR professionals should play the role of a mentor, who will time and again relentlessly stress the importance of Principles/Values.
