Attested My Certificate

I am mohamed ali. i need to attested my Degree certificate for the foreign opportunity.
can i send the orignial certificate to my parents in tamilnadu and get it done there? Is it necessary for me to go there personally to get the things done? I am confused. Pls advice

Attested means that photocopies needs to be verified by an gazetted officer.
Take ur original along with a potocopy to some gazetted officer and get it signed and sealed by them.
A doctor at an govt hospital, Police inspector or any other gazetted can help u .

Dear Mr. Mohamed Ali,
You have to get your certificates attested at HRD MINISTRY, DELHI if you are planning for abroad job. Once it is attested in India, it has to be attested by respective country's MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS to secure PROFESSIONAL VISA else you will get technician or low category visa.
Even you can get it done in abroad(once u reach desired destination) through a agent but it is quite expensive and takes time.

First you need to do HRD - State from which University belongs to and then GRD its in Delhi.
Even many agents are there who carry this work, you need to search as per your trust.
And follow Mr. Khadir advice if you traveling abroad.
