PF Withdrawal Confusion: Why Haven't I Received My Cheque Yet and What Should I Do?

I was working with Mphasis and had submitted the PF withdrawal form almost 6 months ago. Recently, when I tried checking my PF balance online, it indicated that the account has been settled. However, I have yet to receive any cheque from them. Please let me know how they send the cheque and within how many days I should receive it, given that they are saying the account is settled.

Usually, it takes 2 months to settle your PF from the authorities. When it shows that it is settled, check your bank account status, the one you filled in the PF withdrawal form, as the PF accounts are being settled through NEFT by SBI.

When you say "2 months to settle the PF," is it after it says "Account settled" OR is it the total time? Like in my case, it started to give "Account settled" in the 1st week of September.
