Query on Paid Leaves Under Shop and Establishment Act

We have around 45 employees in our company, and I hope this falls under the shop and establishment group. I want to know how many paid leaves (PL) these employees can avail of as per the Shop and Establishment Act. Additionally, is it compulsory for the company to pay for leave encashment for the same?

Thank you.

We have around 45 employees in our company, and I would like to confirm if this falls under the shop and establishment group. I am interested in understanding how many paid leaves (PL) these employees are entitled to as per the Shop and Establishment Act. Also, is it mandatory for the company to pay for encashing these leaves?

Please amplify the query.

Thank you.

What do you mean by "hope it comes under shop & establishment group"? It is surprising that you do not know under which act your organization is registered, and still, you are putting a query that is totally dependent on the act under which the organization is registered.

First, update yourself with the facts/status of your organization and then put forth your query.

Dear All, In our company, accounts activity has been outsourced, and hence they are not clear to us about the PL and encashment. According to them, only 15 days of PL can be availed by employees, and there is still no information on whether it can be encashed or not. I hope it falls under the Shop and Establishment Act because we do not know which act they are following. Can you please provide us with the actual details about PL as per the act?

Regards,
Dash
