So, this is an innovation from a Keralite brain. I salute that brain with a request to use the same for some great innovation instead of creating something that can be very dangerous to human life. Mallus are known for innovations as well as shortcuts. I remember the derailed coaches of a train being extricated by the Malappuram kaakkas (riggers) at Kadalundi backwaters in Malappuram District using the desi lifting methods when Indian Railways did not have such facilities to extricate those coaches. I think they were awarded and paid handsomely. This incident happened around two decades ago.

Hi all, since it appeared in my recent mail, let me put some comments (seems to be an old issue). Those who can't think may feel shame about it. We should appreciate the brain behind it. In Kerala, the construction workers are mainly from outside Kerala. If any one of them found an otherwise thrown-out vehicle and got it modified to ease his job, I think we cannot blame it. Most of the inventions are shaped out in the field, maybe from the brain of a common man (necessity is the mother of inventions). Then it goes for improvements, modifications, and mass productions. Then the corporate world gets involved with the business eye. I think we can see there are many such inventions/modifications in various parts of our country by the common man who cannot afford costly machines.
