New to SAP FICO and Want to Build a Career: What Steps Should I Take Next?

Respected sir, I am an M.Com graduate from 2003 with a first division and have over 5 years of experience in finance and accounts. Currently, I am working with a2z Infrastructure Ltd. as an Executive Accounts and undergoing training in SAP FICO as a fresher. I aspire to build my career in SAP. Could you please guide me on what steps I should take as I am new to SAP?

SAP is very user-friendly and easy to learn. The only challenge is remembering several transaction codes.

SAP Training Options

There are several institutions offering SAP training. However, if you just want to become an accountant with SAP knowledge, I do not think it is necessary for you to attend any training institute. You can learn it by joining any company that uses SAP.

I am sharing this from my experience. I am currently working in a company with SAP. We received a brief introduction to SAP when it was implemented six years ago. Now, we handle SAP FICO, SAP PAYROLL, and MM.
