Struggling with HR Strategy and Audits? Seeking Book Recommendations and Insights

Hi all, yesterday, I attempted an HR specialist exam in which most of the questions were from the sections of HR strategy and HR audits. It was difficult for me to answer them as I am not very well acquainted with these topics. Kindly provide information and suggest books.

Most of the questions are related to Strategic HR and HRD systems. Moreover, all the questions are in-depth from a subject point of view. General awareness is terrible.
