Here is the one file in excel utility for Income Tax Calculator for the financial year 2011-2012 which is made only for Central Govt and State Govt Employees. I hope this will be helpful to all Govt employees for guessing their actual Taxable Income for the Financial Year 2011-2012 and Assessment Year 2012-2013.

Basic pay is the pay which is in force for a particular year until the next grade one's pay touch. On the other hand, at the time of joining there are mention in appointment letter grade pay 5000 - 500 - 10000 - 750 - 12500 -1000- 15000.
