Changes In Factories Act - 1948 (Draft Notofication)

The Central Govt. is planning comprehensive changes to the Factories Act 1948 – draft notification enclosed. Pl. go through the draft – self-explanatory with the current sections and gives the proposed amendment with the justification or reasons.

Views to be sent to Central Govt. within 45 days.

Dear Prasad, Thanx a lot for your efforts. The amendments proposed are disappointing. The license -permit raj, it appears is not going to end. There is a need to simplify the laws and ensure compliances, but more and more complications are getting added. KK Nair
