Will CSC Do Another Background Check After Acquisition? Worried About Missing Records from Closed Employer

Hi all, Currently, I'm working for a company that has been acquired by CSC. I have successfully passed the background check at my current company, verifying that all my experience is genuine. My question is, will CSC conduct another background check?

Last year, one of my previous employers closed down. I worked there for 6 months, and I only have two months of bank statements from that time. Will this pose a problem for me? Please clarify this for me.

Company can inquire multiple times about the information provided in your bio-data/CV/company application. As you mentioned that the company where you work has been acquired by another company, those individuals will definitely conduct various verifications.

Hi Rao, will it work if I show 2 months of bank statements instead of 6 months? (This is my second company. After that, I worked for another company for 1 year and 4 months.) Please suggest how I can defend myself.

Do you have an appointment letter? Even if your company closed down, do you have references from that firm? What are the other documents that you have to be validated?

Yes, I have the appointment letter, relieving letter, and contact numbers of other colleagues who have worked with me.

If you have the offer/appointment letter, then you will be on the safe side. As per my knowledge, the current company maintains the acquired company details.

It's not possible, Reshma, because in the background verification, they will be checking details like employee ID, designation, date of joining, along with the full name. Therefore, no employee will have all the same details.

I was working in Company X for 1.5 years, and presently I'm working in Company Y. Company X was a very small company and has closed its operations. It is not listed in the government ministry affairs.

I'm having the following documents:
- Offer letter
- Relieving letter
- Experience certificate
- Two months bank statement for salary

I have received an offer from another company. Could you please let me know how the background check will be conducted in this situation?
