Is My Non-Judicial Bond Still Valid If I Pursue a Government Job or Higher Education?

ariashulove
Dear All,

Recently, I have signed a non-judicial bond of value 2 Lakhs for 3 years with a company profile in Automobile Manufacturing. I would like to know if the non-judicial bond remains valid if I pursue a government job. Additionally, I am interested in understanding the procedures for being relieved from the bond in case I decide to pursue higher education or a government job.

Thanks & Warm Regards,
Ashish

It's very simple. You pay the bond amount if you want to break it. That's what you have agreed with your company at the time of signing the bond. Try to discuss the same with your company and see if the bond amount can be waived off. If not, then you are liable to pay the same. However, if you have signed a bond that is not on stamp paper, you may take the gamble of not agreeing to pay, but it may become a legal issue if the company insists on taking action against you. So be careful, especially if you are planning to pursue a government job.

Feel free to revert to me if you still have any questions.

Cheers
