Can an employer deduct short leaves actually availed/utilized by me all of a sudden? My point is that my employer has deducted my short hour leaves against my earned leaves.
Can you please mention the details—how many such leaves were deducted and the duration? What does the Rule Book of your company say about this aspect? Also, in which sector/domain do you work?
If Casual Leaves (CLs) are not available, your Earned Leaves (ELs) will be adjusted. How can you term it as a short leave when you did not report during the authorized working hours?
