I've just finished my MBA in HR and systems, and I am looking out for a job in HR. I want to further continue my studies. Could you guide me on which course in HR would be helpful for my career?

Hey, you are just in the right place with an MBA in HR and Systems, and a number of IT companies will be willing to hire you. So go ahead, start working. Hands-on experience counts much more than any fancy degrees in this field.

However, if you really want to study further, you can go for specialized courses available in Organizational Behavior, Organizational Development, Training, etc.

Dear All,

In continuation with Shalgal's email, I have completed my MBA in HR and Marketing and am a postgraduate in Commerce as well. However, I find a lot of difficulties in handling the aspects related to laws and legislation. I have a keen interest in studying this subject as I find it very engaging, but I am unsure whether I should pursue further courses at this stage (I am currently working as an HR Manager) or if I should rely on gaining experience for a better understanding.

Your advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Kavita, in response to your query, let me answer you in this way: Of course, experience allows you to learn many things that you may not be able to learn while studying. You can obtain books related to Labour Laws and read them. Alternatively, if you aspire to be a professional in this field, you can pursue Labour Law studies either part-time or full-time. This degree can assist you in becoming a Legal HR advisor rather than solely an HR Manager.

Thank you very much, Mr. Mirza. It gave me a new insight that there are other careers in HR beyond just being an HR manager. I am quite new to this as I have only been working as an HR Manager for 7 months in a BPO. Now, I will try to broaden my horizons in this way. Thank you once again. :)
