Facing Contract End: Can I Secure a Permanent HR Role in Bangalore? Seeking Advice and Contacts

I am working in a major telecom industry. I have an MBA Degree in HR and a Diploma in Computer with over 1 year of experience. However, the dilemma I am facing is that I am currently working on a contract basis which is scheduled to end by the end of this month.

I have heard that individuals who work on a contract basis may not be able to secure a permanent position with a good company. Is this true?

Next month, I will be going to Bangalore for a week to search for a job there. Could anyone provide me with the names, contact numbers, and email addresses of consultancies in Bangalore so that I can send my CV and schedule interviews there?

I would greatly appreciate any assistance as I am eager to secure a job as soon as possible.

I saw your mail. First of all, you are having a wrong opinion of not getting a job just because you were on a contract basis. Secondly, don't underestimate yourself (which you are already doing by having that mindset). Thirdly, your qualifications are excellent! What more do you want?

You will definitely get a good job (much better than your expectations). Please let me have your mail ID so that I can try to forward you a list of consultants in Bangalore (I am from Bangalore but currently based abroad) which I should have in my email messages. Also, another idea is when you are in Bangalore, try to take the Bangalore Yellow Pages and search in Consultants: Jobs/Recruitment. But take care that you don't pay them anything as there are a lot of consultants dime a dozen who can take you for a ride. Try to be in touch with them through mail or you can even hand over the hard copy of your resume. All the very best once again :)
