Gratuity Calculation Confusion: Should I Use Joining Date or Confirmation Date?

nesh_prajapati
I am working in an MNC company. The question is, is gratuity applicable from the joining date or confirmation date? Which date should I use to calculate gratuity - the joining date or confirmation date?

If the employee joins on a probation period, after completing the probation period (6 months) and being confirmed, when should gratuity be calculated - from the date of joining or the date of confirmation?

The gratuity is applicable even from the date of training. If there is no training period, you can calculate from the date of joining.
