Coming to the point, I am working in a small IT company with an employee strength of not more than 25 people in my branch office. So, I want to have some suggestions from experienced people and ideas from fresh minds for the Employee Engagement Programme. In fact, first, I would like to know how important it is and whether it really helps.

You should celebrate birthdays, festivals, etc. You could have a small set of activities on the last working day of the week. This should not be too long to disrupt work. You should ask your seniors whether it should be done weekly or fortnightly. You could include games, quizzes, skits, etc., to make the workplace lively.
