Can I Use the ESI Hospital in Tirunelveli While Working in Tirupur?

Please clear my doubt. I am working in Tirupur, and my parents are in Tirunelveli. Can we use the ESI hospital in Tirunelveli?

If you have an ESIC smart card, you can use any ESIC hospital or hospitals that are tied up with ESIC in India. You can ask for treatment for your family.

If you have an ESIC smart card and your parents were enrolled in ESIC, you will benefit if the provision of the smart card is under process. In that case, you can obtain Form 105 from your employer, through which you can avail of the benefits.

Employees are issued two smart cards: one for the employee and the other for dependent family members. These cards can be used at ESI-empanelled hospitals across India for hospitalization.

In the case of an accident or emergency, you can be admitted to any hospital and then inform ESIC for reimbursement.

If you have an ESIC card (on roll) and your family member is enrolled, then you can get this benefit.

You can use the ESI hospital at Tirunelveli if you have the Pahchan card recently issued by the ESI Corporation.
