Struggling with Employee Engagement Levels: How Do I Interpret My Survey Results?

Hi all, I am working on a thesis on employee engagement. I am a bit confused about analyzing the levels of engagement based on the results I got from a five-point Likert scale. The questions I have to measure engagement are 14 in total. How do I distribute my respondents into whether they are actively engaged or otherwise? For example, if out of 70 respondents, my total is 45, what level of engagement does that fall into?
