What is the process to withdraw PF? How much time does that take.

Hi Sarab,

For the withdrawal of your PF amount, you are required to fill out 2 forms, which are Form-19 and 10C. The maximum time taken for PF withdrawal is 45 days in the case of a local PF office; otherwise, the maximum time would be 3-4 months.

The amount will be directly transferred to your bank account as mentioned by you in the forms. If the company has a PF Trust, the amount will be withdrawn within a month's time.

Note: The withdrawn amount is taxable.

Dear Sarab,

The PF withdrawal can be done after resigning from the services of the company. Fill up Form 19 & 10-C to withdraw. Provide bank account details in the form. The PF office will deposit the total contributions with interest into the given bank account. The form can be submitted to the PF office after completing 60 days from the last date of working/relieving. The PF office will take 2-3 months to deposit the amount to your bank.
