Hi can i know is HRM policy and HRM practice the same? If yes what is the difference? Also what is the purpose of HRM policy?

I think that HRM polices are framed for the perfect working of HRM practices, they are & also inter-connected only then it may serve the purpose.
HRM polices are activities are done for the employees & by employees & HRM practices are the methods or the ways the polices are executed.
