Promotion Dilemma: What Title Fits Between Sr. Executive and Assistant Manager in Admin?

v_sasi_rekha
Hi HR Friends, we want to promote an employee from Sr. Executive - Admin to the next level. What designation should be given, other than Asst. Manager - Admin? Is there any designation between Sr. Exec and A.M.? Please suggest.

Thanks,

Coordinator - Admin or Senior Coordinator - Admin can be given. However, such designations would typically be available within an organization with substantial departments and operational workload.

Alternative Designations for Promotion

Asst. Supervisor, Supervisor, and Senior Supervisor can be used if you do not have a managerial position.

It depends on your organizational structure or hierarchy. You may choose to become a junior manager or deputy manager.

I agree with Mr. Madhur. You may designate him as Jr. Manager, but in the general industry designation hierarchy, it is Jr. Officer - Officer - Sr. Officer - Executive - Sr. Executive - Asst. Manager - Dy. Manager - Manager - Sr. Manager. In some organizations, Jr. Manager will be positioned before Dy. Manager.

Before an Assistant Manager, Joint Manager (Admin) position can be assigned to an employee, it depends on the organizational hierarchy and the designation structure within the company.
