Interest Rate For Delayed Gratuity Fund Payment

Dear Senior,
Please let me know what will be rate of simple interest to be paid towards delayed payment of gratuity fund to employee. and after how many days of non payment of gratuity from date of leaving this delayed interest is applicable.

As per gratuity act the gratuity payment should be made within 30 days.
For delayed payment over 30 days, the employer has to pay interest at the rate of 12% pa

The simple interest as notified by Govt of India from time to time for long term deposits will be applicable for delayed payment of Gratuity.
