Good one. Thanks for sharing. But, sorry to say that this system is not used in Indian industries. The hydrant system is totally opposite to what is mentioned. The presentation you have shared is used abroad, like in the US or UK, and this hydrant system is used in city limits to provide water for fire engines during emergencies. I have not come across such a system in India. Many cities use hydrants with sluice valves for dealing with city hydrants, and a hydrant key is used for operating them.
In industries, we never have a dry barrel system except for dry risers. All the headers must have a mandatory wet system only. The topic is too lengthy to explain in this forum. But looking at the positive side - if you have come across such a system in India, please let me know as I would definitely like to visit the city.
