NLP in Simpler Terms...

Let's say you have a computer with various input channels like a keyboard, mic, touchscreen, videocam - and a more advanced e-nose/e-tongue (an electronic device that can break down chemical substances based on aroma/smell). You feed in some data, and when you click on the result button, you do not get your desired result. If there is no problem with your input devices, then where would the problem be? Obviously, in the CPU. And what could be the reason? VIRUS!

Humans and animals perceive the world through the five senses - eyes, ears, nose, touch, and taste. We feed in certain information, and sometimes we do not get the desired result in our lives - so where is the problem?

Now, when we have a computer that is being attacked by a virus, we introduce an ANTIVIRUS to correct the system (until the system is attacked by a more updated virus...). Our brain is the most advanced supercomputer that can process multiple amounts of information at the same time - but due to the fact that we get attacked by VIRUS (LIMITING BELIEF SYSTEMS), we fail to accomplish what we started out to do.

NLP - Neuro-Linguistic Programming is the ANTIVIRUS to this supercomputer system, thereby enhancing your capacities to the maximum. Hence, NLP is called the TECHNOLOGY of EXCELLENCE.

Who is involved in the NLP process? I have a doubt regarding this. I have read everything mentioned about NLP and how it will be useful for HR. I think by understanding this process, we can assess ourselves, what we are doing, or how we can help newcomers in the organization to learn and grow. Please clear my doubt.

If I were to share my opinion about one NLP method, it would be Perceptual Positions. This method enables individuals to view a situation or scenario from their own perspective, that of others, and also from the viewpoint of someone who has experienced or is currently in that situation. It aids in deriving innovative solutions.
