i want to know that i am pregnant and as i have my esic card from previous company and i left that company on march 21st as i joined another company 0n 1st july and my due date is of 28 nov so i want to know whether i am eligible for matenity benefits from esic...

no ur not entitled for the matenity benefits becasuse for its u have the 9 month contribution...

Please provide below information
1) Doj Joining & DoL previous company, salary, were you covered under ESI ?
2) Doj current company , salary ? are you covered under ESI ?
3) Is there is any gap between joining two companies , if yes how many days ?

For getting the maternity benefit you have to complete min 84 days.

In this regard you are informed that for entitled of maternity benefit from the ESIC, any of the female employee have to complete 70 days in the employment of the management and she has to contribute the ESI contribution to the ESIC for 70 days in a year. If you are have joined the management on 1st July, 2011 then, you are elegible for the benefit under the provisions of Maternity Benefits Act.

first tell that how many months the esi deduct from urs salary in previous firm. Date of joining and date of left of previous firm.
